All students must follow this process in order to get started with our program.

How will sessions play out?
Using the link your tutor provides, you will be joining a video call for your session. The content of the session is completely up to you and whatever material you provide in advance. If you have any specific requests for your tutor, be sure to notify ahead of time.
What kind of material will we work with?
The tutoring material is entirely up to you! You may send any screenshots, documents, or files of schoolwork you need help with, or any other academic work of your choosing.
How will sessions be scheduled and organized?
Before any sessions officially begin, you will need to discuss a certain schedule with your tutor. This session plan will include the days of the week and duration times of your sessions, which should be consistent. Once your decisions are finalized, your tutor will report back to us with your official session plan, so we will always be informed of your schedule. If any changes should arise, be sure to notify either your tutor or our team in advance.
Can tutors get school credit for these volunteer hours?
Yes! Once you feel your time at Tutorberry is complete, you will submit your leave of absence to inform us of your completion. We will follow up shortly with your letter of verification, including the number of hours you have earned and a signature from our advisor.
Can we request for a different tutor in the middle of the month?
Definitely. If you feel that your match has turned out to be inadequate, you must submit a tutor request form. After we review your request, our team will match you with another suitable tutor in a timely manner.
